Here is a high/mid-level architectural diagram of the System Center suite. The goal of this diagram is to provide an understanding of how the System Center suite interacts / integrates within itself. I find a common statement is “The Microsoft Product can’t do…” in reality the product in question relies on another component of the suite to perform the required function. Another challenge is to outline what component of the suite performs what task, now an IT admin not completely familiar with every System Center component, can see which console to login to.
Not all of the System Center suite is included in this diagram, just the components that are integrated into my current environment. This will be a “fluid” document that I plan to update as I integrate new components into the environment. Feel free to access my OneDrive path below for the Visio Diagram and Stencils.
